The Bihar State Electronics Development Corporation (BELTRON) conducts a large-scale typing test to recruit Data Entry Operators (DEO) across various state government departments.

1. Speed Requirements
BELTRON strictly evaluates both English and Hindi typing skills:
- English Typing: Minimum 30 Words Per Minute (WPM).
- Hindi Typing: Minimum 25 Words Per Minute (WPM).
- Test Duration: Typically 10 minutes for each language.
2. Keyboard Layout and Font Specifications
- Hindi Font: Mangal Font is officially mandated.
- Hindi Layout: Candidates are required to type using the Remington Gail keyboard layout. Practice extensively on this layout if you are used to Krutidev.
- English Layout: Standard QWERTY layout.
3. Backspace and Interface Rules
- Backspace: Backspace is allowed to correct typographical errors.
- Interface: The passage is usually displayed on the screen. You must type exactly what is shown.
