The Border Security Force (BSF) conducts typing tests for ASI (Steno) and Head Constable (Ministerial) roles.
1. Speed Requirements
- English Typing: A minimum speed of 35 Words Per Minute (WPM) (10,500 KDPH).
- Hindi Typing: A minimum speed of 30 Words Per Minute (WPM) (9,000 KDPH).
- Duration: 10 Minutes.
2. Keyboard and Software Details
- Language: English or Hindi.
- Hindi Layout: Mangal Font with the Remington Gail layout is standard.
3. Test Interface and Rules
- Backspace: Backspace is allowed.
- Printed Sheet: You may have to type from a printed paper passage.
